Tomorrow, Microsoft will release Windows XP Service Pack 3, the first major update to the OS since 2004. Apple has released a required Boot Camp 2.1 update for SP3, and VMware has released an SP3 update for Fusion. Service Pack 3 will be available to users via Windows Update.

Please verify your apps such as FileMaker run properly.

Over 200 Improv Everywhere Agents froze in place at the exact same second for five minutes in the Main Concourse of Grand Central Station. Winclone… Clone your Boot Camp partition - Now with Vista cloning!
New Machine Setup a breeze If you are in charge of setting up a bunch of machines with both Mac OS X and Boot Camp, Winclone will make your job a breeze. The telecommunications giant said it’s getting rid of its pay phones by the end of next year before they become unprofitable.
If you hadn’t noticed, there are fewer pay phones around, down to about 1 million nationwide.
An AT&T spokesman said the company will try to sell 65,000 pay phones placed in prisons and public locations before the end of 2008. Phones that can’t be sold to independent operators will simply be removed.
Bell South has already quit the pay phone business, as has Qwest Communications. (via AT&T Hangs Up On Pay Phone Business - Technology News Story - WPXI Pittsburgh)
